SUPERFRONT’s “Architecture Mixtape” series launches at Studio X April 1st

SUPERFRONT’s “Architecture Mixtape” series launches at Studio X April 1st, co-hosted by Jace Clayton aka DJ /rupture of WFMU mudd up! radio. Mitch McEwen, Founder and Director of SUPERFRONT, presents recent exhibits curated in both SUPERFRONT’s Los Angeles and Brooklyn galleries. The audience is invited to participate in a public program that integrates music and community organizing into the production of architectural discourse. Catalog publications and the DJ /rupture produced soundtrack are available for purchase.

Current Exhibit

A GROUP SHOW CO-ORGANIZED BY The Laundromat Project and SUPERFRONT opened October 17 and is on view through December 12th.  This year’s Laundromat Project Create Change artists: Carlos Martinez, Michael Premo, and Tracee Worley, have approached their projects from different perspectives and media, yet thematically converge through the act of public testimony.

Gallery hours are 1pm – 6pm Saturday and Sunday and by appointment.

SUPERFRONT BK closed for installation from September 19 – October 11

Regular gallery hours will be postponed from September 19th through October 11th for installation.

Join us October 17th for the opening of The Laundromat Project: Create Change exhibit, curated by Petrushka Bazin and produced by Risë Wilson with exhibit design by SUPERFRONT studio.  Exhibit features new community-oriented works by Carlos Martinez, Michael Premo, and Tracee Worley.
