SUPERFRONT gallery closes early Saturday December 12th at 4:00pm for the de-installation of the Laundromat Project’s Public Artists Residency exhibit. The gallery re-opens January 3rd 2010, 5pm – 8pm with the opening of MAKING SPACE.
It takes guts to produce an architectural experiment for $500, as SUPERFRONT knows too well. Kudos to the folks behind the Putting Lot in Bushwick, and bravo to team ZTS for their winning entry below (Sunken House). Look for their project to be installed in an empty lot in Bushwick soon.
SUMMER INTERNSHIPS are available from June 1st through mid-August. Three positions consist of: Gallery Intern, Projects Intern, and Publications Intern. Gallery Intern assists with curatorial functions, project planning, budgeting, and grant-writing. Projects Intern assists with installation, woodshop, and renovation design and construction.
